Lodging Q & A
What paperwork do I need to fill out?
Along with a signed Lodging Agreement, we will need a copy of up-to-date vaccines for Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP
Will my dog have other dogs to play with?
Sometimes. Not all dogs have the same play style or get along with every dog. When that is the case, dogs are kept separate.
Will my dog be in a kennel all day?
No kennels here! Your dog will stay in a private room at night, during feeding times, and when we are out of the house. The rest of the day they will free-roam the house and have access to the backyard as much as needed.
Do you board just dogs?
We are not dog exclusive! While we cannot board cats, for allergy reasons, we gladly board any other small animal. The pet must come in their own enclosure and with their own food. Small and exotic pets are boarded for just $5 a night
Is food provided?
We request that you bring your dogs' food with them. Sudden changes in food can cause stomach issues, so it is best to keep your pup on what they are used to.
What else should I bring with my dog?
Anything you would like! Dogs really like to have reminders of home.
Can you handle special dietary needs?
Absolutely! We always ask for any allergies your pup may have and are more than happy to cook their meals if needed.
Do you administer medications?
Yes. We can preform subcutaneous (under the skin) injections and pill administration for a $3 per day fee. This price includes all family members and unlimited daily doses.
Is there an extra cost for stays on a holiday?
Yes. There is an additional $10 a night charge for stays on a holiday.
Do you have breed or size restrictions?
We gladly take dogs of all breeds and sizes!
Do dogs have to be spayed / neutered?
While we cannot take femals in heat, dogs do not have to be spayed or neutered to board with us. Unaltered dogs will only interact with their family unless their behavior allows them to socialize.
